On Saturday, January 28th, International Services will host a screening of Salam Neighbor. Join us for this award winning documentary and listen to guest speaker, Nancy Bosnoian, Red Cross Youth IS/SAF Officer, as she shares her story of being unable to return to her home and life in Syria.
Released in 2016, the award winning film, Salam Neighbor documents the experiences of American filmmakers Zach Ingrasci and Chris Temple while living in Jordan's Za'atari refugee camp among 85,000 Syrians. 
Zach and Chris were the first filmmakers allowed to be registered and given a tent inside of a refugee camp. They spent a month in Za'atari, which lies seven miles from the Syrian border, to cover what the UN Refugee Agency calls the world’s most pressing humanitarian crisis.

This is a free International Services event for Red Cross staff, volunteers, community partners, and donors. Light refreshments will be included.
